I'm not feeling well today. I think I may have tonsillitis.
anyways, I had a busy day, but I got some major things done!
first, I went to government services, where I applied for, and got accepted for, food stamps. no scurvy for koko! it's easy to get the non perishables from food shelves and that, but veggies and fruits are a must have, and they've never been more expensive!
next, the DMV to get a new ID, I looked halfway decent despite not feeling my best. I only paid 50 cents because I am eligible for a reduced fee ID.
I then went to the Save a Lot, a discount grocery chain, and I was pleasantly surprised. The selection wasn't bad. They even have dairy, veggies, fruit and meat! I spent HALF of what I spent at Super One. I got a few things at the dollar store next to it, too... I didn't buy any junk food, the only things I didn't really need were some spices that I'm starting to collect, for my spice rack.
all I have left to do is change my address at the post office, and finish unpacking. Then I'll see a doctor tomorrow.
the only other sucky thing today other then being sick was that I got a notice that my shower was leaking into the apartment below, and not to use my shower until it's fixed. luckily I got the key to the 14th floor sauna (yes we have one) so I can use the shower up there.

my favorite grandma (mom's mom) was rushed to the hospital with chest pains, leg pains, and arm pains. she likely had a heart attack. She's not in critical condition as far as I know, but it's still serious. when grandma dies I'm going to be very, very sad, I hope she lives for at least ten more years. I love her dearly.
the good news is, I'm moving on Sunday to my apartment! I already got just about everything I need.

I got a dust buster, a dirt devil hand vac, toaster, mixer, pots, pans, crock pot, floor lamp, a small rolling table, full matching set of silverware and a knife set with a holder, and a whole bolt of fabric, scrap fabric, s&p shakers, and a pillow/blanket for quilting purposes all for 45$, the total worth of said items is more like 200$.
sadly I didn't get any pictures, because I left them in my empty apartment, since I have yet to officially move in :P.

I'm due to sign the lease for my new apartment on Thursday the 18th! Wish me luck!
also, I don't think I've shared my dearest ambitions with you all.
I am extremely interested in gem/treasure hunting. this is a perfect place to start, as the Lake Superior shore holds billions of agates.
I'm also interested in supernatural sites and spooky places. not so much ghosts, but places rich in history or spooky appeal.
My dearest ambition is to go to every public dig site in America, searching for treasure and gems, and maybe even gold. It's the thrill of the hunt. I also want to visit locales with supernatural history, as well as other sites that appeal to my tastes for the macabre.
my favorite TV programs are Travel Channel specials on these places. I love to travel. I love touring. :D

Armand got mad at this. which he is not. I got kinda pissed too. I commented on his post, "Same thing with my Asperger's. People assume everyone on the internet made it up for attention or as an excuse, and even some real aspies use it as a badge of honor, which disgusts me. It's not a goddamn club, and I would have sold my soul to be normal. I'm sure you would have too."
anyways, I read this news article and was delighted. anything to get jobs back into America and punish those jerks who think they can avoid taxes. I am a big supporter of Obama, even if they are criticizing his stimulus package. Bush's supporters trusted his judgement, and his priorities were all WAR WAR NATIONAL SECURITY FUCK THE ECONOMY AND THE CONSTITUTION WE GOTTA GO AFTER TERRISTS. By this I mean blindly supporting the Iraq war and the Patriot Act and all that, "because he's the president and knows what is best for us!" but now it's "OMG Obama's liberal agenda will ruin us!" Whatta bunch of hypocrites, they only support our president when said president is their own party affiliation. I know several people who have actually said those things. yech.

I was just told that the place I am living at won't let me leave until I pay back my back rent. I can't do that since they are taking all but 89$ a month. There is no way I can do that. I don't know if they can legally do it, but if they can, then I am fucked. I don't know what to do, and I am this close to another full blown break down. This one could kill me. if I lose my mind again and attempt suicide again, I might not survive this breakdown. I don't want to die. I don't want to live here.
My social worker and my arhms worker have their phones off, I can't reach anyone that can help me.

I am moving beginning of June. I ****DESPERATELY**** need money for the security deposit. I need 175$ ASAP. I have NO money right now besides what I need for rent on THIS hovel, and my bills. I tried selling my hair, but no one has even bid yet.
I'm begging. please, please, please, help me, someone. if I can't come up with it I might be booted from the list. I already bounced my last rent check, and I'm -40$ because of the fine. I have no balance left on my credit card, because of the annual fee.
The reason I'm always broke? my rent takes up all but 89$ of my personal needs money, which is currently being eaten up by internet (55$) credit card minimum payment plus a couple bucks (25$) which leaves me with a grand total of 9$ every damned month without going into debt. the problem with my internet is that every company has slower speed for the same I'm paying. it's totally unfair, and if I had dial up I couldn't even use the internet anymore, it's become all web 2.0. believe me, I have tried (at Mom's.) it won't even load half a website like dA before giving up. all I could do is check my email, and the public library's computers block aim, and don't let you use usb sticks except on the net-less machine to print.

I will need many things for my apartment.
I need:
-towels
-toilet plunger
-cookware (pots, pans, baking dish, cookie sheet)
-vacuum
-broom/mop
-cleaning solvents (comet, windex, pinesol, etc)
-toilet paper
-hand soap
-dish soap
-laundry soap
-plates
-new TV (using loaner now)
-new bed (old one damaged in basement flood, plus I hate twin beds, i keep falling out of em)
I have:
-table and chairs
-futon
-lamps
-computer desk
-chest of drawers
-plastic drawers
-iron/ironing board
-desk
-bookshelves
-basic toolkit
I also had an awful, awful headache today.

I edited and compiled a skit voiceover for Armand, as a single audio file. I used Audacity, and I recorded the parts of Puu and the Neighborhood Watch Commitee van.
