I have a case of bronchitis, and my throat is so raw from the coughing I've lost my voice. (no calls, folks, till my voice comes back) Lovely. I had a fever of 100.1 but it passed, I don't own a thermometer so I can't check. My head was hurting soooo bad too, but i bought a mega bottle of ibuprofen. I couldn't sleep last night I was coughing so bad. Pity me. My spirits are ok though. I just haaate being stuck inside on a beautiful day.

A guy in my building seems to have the hots for me. he asked for my number, and he chats me up in the elevator. I'm really not sure how to feel about it. I'm torn between flattery and suspicion here. No romantic pursuits of mine have ever gone well. It was either one-sided, or the guy was doing it for a joke, or doing it because they thought I would be an easy lay, or he was a total reject who was going for a fat chick because clearly she has no standards. Needless to say, my hopes aren't high. Frankly, I don't care if I die alone anymore anyways.

I had a thought... If terrorists -really- wanted to fuck with America, they should bomb all the Chinese factories that produce our goods. Then that would hurt the rich fat cats who make profits outsourcing and destroying our economy, and destroy Wal-mart, our biggest company. They wouldn't have to kill soldiers or destroy anything on American soil. Then the Chinese would get pissed and kill the terrorists for us. I consider that win-win. :D

things I would like to do some day:
-travel to all the US States, Canada, England, China, Japan, Italy, South Africa, Mexico, and maybe Brazil to party with Tiago :P
-visit tons of tourist traps and haunted places
-go treasure hunting (gems, gold coins, etc)
-write a book
-go back to college
-become comfortably rich, though not excessively wealthy
-get married to a likeminded person
-get new titanium implant teeth for my mom, who's missing a lot of teeth due to genetics and poverty

I had to call the cops yesterday.
I was taking my walk, and two girl were fighting on 22nd avenue west. I caught the tail end and the crowd dispersed, from what was being yelled, one girl shot the other with a bb gun. on the return trip, I passed one of the girls was yelling into her cellphone calling for reinforcements to retaliate, so I called the cops. Initially they had refused to come by, according to the neighbors, but since I had a tip that girl B was retaliating with reinforcements, I think they probably sent a cruiser by. I waited till i got home to call so they probably didn't realize it was me who tipped off the fuzz.
I'm not a proud ghetto denizen so I can snitch if I want to.

I don't like using the victim card, but what else when I do when people persist in exploiting me?
LTC pharmacy in Proctor, MN filled my prescription AFTER I went in PERSON to ensure my account was cancelled, after i had Melissa the house supervisor of my former residence tell them to do it. This stinks of deliberate ignorance. I already called in to get my scrip at Walgreens in west Duluth! I had her take it back but if they were first to bill my insurance, you know what that means? Minnesota's state insurance will NOT allow me to double bill prescriptions. I'm OUT of my pills, and Effexor has a horrible withdrawal! If walgreens didn't fill it first it means I'll be billed the FULL amount for my BRAND NAME drugs. I CAN'T AFFORD THAT! Now I know how seniors faced with choosing between food or meds feel!
FYI to those who will be inevitably telling me to take the poisoned apple:
I am NOT going to take the scrip they automatically filled. That would be encouraging them to keep on billing me.
FUCK YOU, LTC. YOU ARE CHEATING, SNEAKY BASTARDS! DON'T EXPECT ME TO PAY YOU ONE CENT IN CO PAYS NO MATTER HOW MUCH YOU PERSIST. I WILL SIT OUTSIDE WITH A SIGN IF YOU DON'T KNOCK IT OFF! I WON'T REMOVE THIS POST EITHER, SINCE YOU CAN'T BE HALF ASSED TO CANCEL MY ACCOUNT!

yeah, I had to fast for like two days when I had that bout with pancreatitis. The only treatment for that, pretty much, was to have nothing in my stomach, even water, because that would stimulate the pancreas, my pancreas needed to "rest" and oh boy was my mouth dry... I could stand having no food, but god damn, no water was killer. when I know I can't have water, that's when the dry mouth kicks in, XP. I only had just enough to take my meds, but I begged the nurses to let me swish water in my mouth because I was practically spitting cotton.

in other news, I lost weight in the last three weeks, six pounds. the reduction in stress and buying better food has worked wonders. I also go for walks, even if this is the ghetto no one's hassled me. :D
